This is the job most people mean when they say a floor 'looks worn out'. The sealer is worn, not the floor.
Strip the old sealer
Stripper is applied, agitated with a rotary machine, then extracted along with years of built-up finish.
Neutralise and dry
The floor is rinsed and neutralised so the new sealer bonds properly — skip this and it peels within months.
Seal and burnish
Three to five thin coats of commercial sealer, then burnished to the sheen level you want.
